New Zealand and the European Union have negotiated a free trade agreement. After seven-years of discussion and numerous negotiating rounds, an agreement in principle was reached early on Friday 30th June, between Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and European Union President Ursula von der Leyen, in Brussels.
